Just try eating a sensible balanced diet, instread of stuffing yourself with expensive chemicals of doubtful provenance and even more doubtful effectiveness, which may even poison you!
Question Author
yeah the diet part i really dont know if im getting it right! so am going to see a fitness instructor to discuss my diet.
the Creatine just makes your workouts that littel bit easier i think i want to get the diet right but also give me as much chance as possible to get bigger as quick as possible!
Protein powders............great.
Creatinine...................wonderful
Amino acids.................sensational.

Tips you say?..........all 3 above, not at all necessary and a waste of money.

Tips.

a) light exercise.......water.
b) Strenuous exercise.......electrolyte drinks.
Be careful taking too much creatine.

You can get water retention, so you get bigger but not stronger.

Because your strength doesn't keep up with your weight gains, your development can reach a plateau ...

... and then you start to lose the muscle tissue that you have developed.
Question Author
Sqad how is taking protein a waste of money?
Because you can't store it.....it is broken down and excreted.

That is the basis of the Atkins Diet...........High protein. low carbohydrate. Energy released form breaking down fat.
Inefficient but causes weight loss as protein cannot be stored.

Take your protein, spend your money, but within 24hours it will be down the toilet............with your money.
Question Author
but wont the protein be used to repair damaged muscle tissue? thought that was the point it is used straight away to repair what ive done in the gym?
Just eating some protein from your normal food is all you need to do - these supplements are just a big expensive con!
Sherminator....why should it be "damaged?"

Muscle cells are replaced regularly from the ingredients of your diet..........muscle cells are not pure protein.

I have given you my tips..........it is now up to you.
Question Author
NO Sqad you have not given me tips you have TOLD me i'm wrong without really backing up what you say!
(incidentally i do appreciate you answering me I would just like you to explain in more detail why not to use them)

damaged was the wrong word but i thought when you lift weights you tear the muscle fibres and with protein you repair them but repair over the tear so that the muscles become bigger.. Therefore taking a protein shake after a gym session is widely regarded as a good practise?
"Therefore taking a protein shake after a gym session is widely regarded as a good practise".............By people who sell or benefit from the sale of protein shakes, like Gym Staff and Protein Shake sales people!

Provided you eat properly, you don't need these extras......
