Me again, another question. I have a Panasonic TV with Freeview and a new Panasonic DVD also with Freeview. I am getting reminders 'DVD Auto Setup' every single day. It takes approx three minutes each time and is now getting on my nerves. Why do I get these reminders so often, and am I actually getting any more channels? I think there is a way of stopping these reminders, should I do this and if so, how ?

Do you turn off your equipment over night? I mean at the plug? I know a lot of freeview boxes update overnight (The TV Guide usually) so if it is switched off at the mains then the update cannot happen.

Nope, it is on standby.
I'm having the same trouble with my Panasonics, I now just press no, and occasionally let it go through just in case.

Peppermum, I did that once and I lost all my channels. I had to phone up John Lewis to restore them again. It is annoying though.
but if you lose all the channels you just go back into the set-up routine that we've all just had to do to restore them again, well that's what happened to me once.
