Newly installed program/s

Hi,

I’m a bit confused and in need of some help again. I turned on my computer and as the cursor was navigated on the start button a message came up saying “new program installed”. I didn’t install any program; also, I looked in “add remove programs” nothing new, unusual or unrecognisable was there. Where and how do I check for ‘this/these’ newly installed program/s?

thanks for answering Chuck but there was nothing new or different in the start menu. that's why i'm puzzled.
