Every single day, almost a thousand dolphins, whales and porpoises die in nets and fishing gear. That's one every two minutes.
Bycatch - the capture of unwanted fish and other species in fishing gear is one of the greatest global threats facing dolphins, porpoises, and whales. According to a new WWF report, nine dolphin and porpoise populations around the world need immediate action if they are to survive the threat of entanglement in fishing gear.

I always have to try to make a difference in any small way that I can when it comes to the well-being of animals...whether it be with checks that donate money to wildlife charities and spread the message to spay and neuter....or trying to get information like this out there even though it is quite disappointing and depressing!....
Who knows what small action might help....spread the word to stand up against animal cruelty and keep an eye out for ways that we can help...even in the slightest way!
