I got sunburnt on my shoulders, arms and chest about 3weeks ago. It was very painful and went all blistered. Once the blistering went, i started to peel and got all itchy. My right arm and shoulder got the burnt worst as it was facing the sun. Im still itching in the same place on my right shoulder blade, its very annoying and when i scratch it feels like i cant get the right place! Sholud it take so long to stop itching?

how do you spell incurable?
There is a cream called Eurax, which you can get over the counter, it's for heat rash, but it's a very good 'anti-itcher' if you know what i mean.
Vitamin E cream or Aloe Vera Gel are both good for this. Aloe is v good for any kind of burn (ie. from the oven) and helps prevent scarring. It will soothe and aid in the healing process.
Also wy skin is healing try some Boots Anti Histamine tablets cos they the itching too, it's ona special offer at the moment round my way (buy one get one free) Good to have in the medicine cabinet just in case it happens again.
