What is the best site to find out which roads are open, covered in thick snow, icy etc?

neither of which are brilliant for SW Scotland!

www.trafficscotland.org gives you more than just whether the roads are opem you get live cams on certain roads

I've tried that one too - however, I know that a road local to here was closed yesterday due to an accident, but not repported on traffic scotland (and it wa an A road, not a local one).
Still, will try them all when about to travel.
