I have a Cable Modem, A Linksys 4 Port Router and now need to add another device (LAN Storage).
All 4 ports are in use with the present home network. How can I add one more device as I am not exactly sure what to order.
Thank You

Thank you.
What exactly is the difference between a switch and a router they look similar.
in the home sense of things a router allows multiple computers to connect to the internet using a single connection, a switch is just for connecting multiple computers together.

your "4 port router" is actually a router with a integrated 4 port switch, so you already have one router which is all you need, to add more ports you just "daisy chain" another switch from the existing one built into your "router"
