A florin was worth two shillings(10p) and that was one-tenth of a £.
The 5 and 10 were released together.
As peapod and sandy-wrote have said, a florin was the old 2 shillings coin, it could be used as a 10p coin for a while as I remember during the change-ver period. The 5p and 10p came out together in 1968 - the 5p was same value as a shilling at that time.
