The Pheasant looks very jolly, with that open fire.

Have been fancying a curry lately and the food at The Pheasant is not really my thing but it does look like a lovely pub so I'd have to say Lasan

Doesn't it !! And I just saw a clip of someone eating what looked like medium rare duck - I was positively salivating....

However, the incomparable flavour of all those delicious spices mingling together....

Being snowed in somewhere like that would be fab.

It's a shame it's so far North. Cambridge is somewhere up towards Scotland, I think.

JJ... I could just picture some delicious food with Veuve in The Pheasant..... followed by a bottle of full-bodied botlle (or two) of red wine, sitting by that fire !

Sherrard, curry by an open fire? No, can't see that. But I do love a nice hot curry with a good bottle of Viognier.
