outlook 2007

have tried to download office 2007 on a new laptop from the disc, all sucsessful except outlook wich will not accept product id key supplied , says its the wrong key anybody any ideas

I'm a bit confused: Office 2007 only uses 1 product key for all its components (which it's best to input when requested at the beginning of the installation). Did you input this and successfully install Word etc, but then find that Outlook doesn't work? Or are you installing each component separately with different keys?

One key ... I think bet way is to do a repair from Add Remove entry.

Office home and student edition does not come with outlook.

If you have the H&S version then then outlook on your computer is left over from a trial version of office that would have been installed when you bought it. the key you got with your new disk will not activate it.

If the above is the case you may as well uninstall outlook
