48a straw
12a Water?
32d star
37a is "nail"
5.7cm is 0.997375328 nail, I'm assuming it's rounded.

so why don't you both come and play the KM links game with us - it'll be starting at 7.00am but there's no rush. All you have to do is enter a match with today's words and see how you get on, on Monday when Herculis is published and I've done the scoring. btw, modeste, 12a is metal.
And I think 12a is "metal" as water isn't a chemical element. Water is a chemical substance.
I'd rather kill myself :) but thanks for the offer seekeerz :)

Hi Dusty and thanks for the support - yep, the fish was very wet and very smelly and it was the last thing I was expecting - at least one of them decided that playing KM was better than suicide - what a choice !!??

what's this multiple birth I've been hearing about - what have you been up to - I'll be back later [like tomorrow morning] to check up so bye for now, little wabbit :-))))
Yes Steff ~ my reputation seems to be in tatters! All due to this:-

and of course Strix is doing his usual imitation of an owl-faced Jack Russell!! But fear not, sometimes we wabbits can outwit the JRs! So I shall sit here with a silly expression on my face, twitching my nose until his attention is diverted elsewhere!! :0)
Question Author
Aha, all is crystal clear - trust that Strix to be ferreting around making molehills out of reputations - err, no, that doesn't sound quite right but I know what he's like - very quick off the mark is one thing !!! I'd just sit there looking innocent as you are, 'twill pass, owls have the attention span of a gnat sometimes.

Glad the odd-bods have calmed down - was it something in the water or are they going snow crazy - and I'm very glad to see middlestump is back with us this week so you did a good job there, lets hope he wins a few points.

Off to the vet now with one of the boys to have stitches removed after an abscess in his jaw, poor little lad. You take care, I'll see you Monday somewhere, S :-)))
