Hi all,

I've taken the plunge and got my provisional license. Being utterly new to this, could anybody let me know if there are any good sites on the web dedicated to providing resources for new learners? I've been googling around but every site I've found has been trying to sell me driving lessons etc... it would be good to get unbiased advice! I'm based in Norbury, South London so it would be good to find a local instructor... again, any good recommendations are welcome!

I did see this site and it's more helpful than most - but again, it's affiliated with a software company and they're pushing their wares on you....
You can choose to ignore the advertising even though the product is specifically recommended by ADIs and aimed to help you become a competent driver. Advertising has not stopped you using AnswerBank.
