If a person is almost 60 and receiving Pension Credit, where can that person go to find out how to receive grants *if any* for courses of further education? Ta Muchly.

Try your local College of Further Education for a start -- sometimes lots of freebies.

Thanks Brenda, but it aint got such a good reputation - maybe the CAB, eh?
woodelf, if you get a prospectus it would list which courses are free to those on benefits.
You cant receive Pension Credit till you are 60, not almost 60!

Okay Sara3, I'll try that and by the time anything is sorted out, the person will be 60.
