Question For ED
I dont know if you have realised yet, but we have lost a valuable member of our group as a result of some upsetting comments made by another member in haste. Can anything be done about this.
Thanks bruce5755

It seems the young lady in question is innocently using AB as more of a chat room, and the other party tried to point out that her post was unnecessary and pointless, and the whole thing rapidly degenerated into a slanging match (quite an entertaining one at that!)
It will never stop as people will always differ in their opinions.
However, I do sometimes wonder if it would be a better idea for the AB editor to scrutinise each post before it is allowed on the site. I realise this would take an awful amount of time and slow things down, but if you look at the BBC website for example, comments from members of the public are not posted until they are thoroughly vetted.
The don't know each other by the way. Well, not as far as I know!
The individual scrutiny idea has some merit BDW, but I suspect it won't be welcomed by many users, or found practical by ABE. I like your thinking though - and you're right about the bbc. altohugh I'm still sulking with them for not posting my thoughts on the Very Hungry Caterpillar!!! :-p
