Nice, sunny afternoon, so ...

I'm just having a chilled bottle ... (I mean, a "glass" obviously) of Australian Sauv Blanc.

Purely for research, you understand, because I'd normally choose Sauv Blanc from New Zealand.

Cheers !

New World Wines are great JJ, I prefer them to the European ones although the majority of the wines I drink these days are either Californian, S.African or Australian.
Have fun !
There's a very tasty Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, Vina Valdivieso, you can get for less than nine quid.
Bleugh... Don't think I can face wine for a little bit at the moment.. :-/
Chilean and Argentinian wines are great also Sandy-Wroe !
I enjoyed that pink wine i had a christmas but can't seem to find it in asdas now, it was a white grenache. I'm havign a drink tonight too as my son is away to Leeds and I don;t have to drive or work !
I've come to the conclusion that no wine is truly bad. Even the worst of them have some redeeming feature. :-)

I agree, redman.

Sandy, I'll look out for it.

Over the last few minutes, I've become a bit disappointed with this wine.

It doesn't have that sharp, citrus flavour that you get from most NZ Sauv Blancs.

I'm not sure if this was a good choice ...

... which is a bummer, cos I bought a case of 12.
Which Australian Estate is it from JJ. Wolf Blass is always Excellent wine.
I have also tried the Aussie Sauvs and they are a bit citrusy for my tastebuds. And I really don't like the Chilean ones. Neither are a patch on their NZ counterparts, in my opinion.

It's called "Westend Estate Riverina" redman.

I hadn't seen it before, so I just bought a dozen on spec.

I wonder if I should have stuck with Marlborough, Montana from NZ. At least you know what you're getting.

Try this one next time JJ. Available in most top Supermarkets. I can recommend it as I have drank it.
