Hello EV N&C Wine Clubbers,
If my memory serves me well, this theme appeared in The Speccie not too long ago, so the training was useful. The second, but unrelated theme added weight to the enjoyment of solving this EV.

I am not sure what price range all the proffered restaurants fall into - I am afraid we tend to aim low and probably slightly further east than you would be looking. However, if you haven't eaten at St John's then it is an experience to put on your list although not necessarily for an anniversary; ditto Rules. On the south side of the river, the Oxo Tower is good, and a gem is Magdelene (between the London Dungeon and Tower Bridge - this one courtesy of our son who thinks himself a bit of a gourmand!). Of course there is always Shekey's (spelling?) as a fishy fall back. Do let us know where you eventually end up!
Thank you all for the suggestions, they have flooded in from all quarters and Latium is looking good, though The Forge on Garrick st is in the frame too! Will appraise you all of the chosen dining experiences upon return - thank you again. Mind you, we still have next Sunday's experience to conquer before I 'sort' the 'do'.
