portsmouth ferries

can any one recommend a reliable , cheaper car ferry to isle of Wight please?

were travelling about 2.pm, middle of may.

We have a car--no towing--no roof rack.

Are you specifically going from Portsmouth, if so the the only ones you can get are Wightlink. If you can travel then you've got Red Funnel from Southampton and Wightlink from Lymington as well

we dont want to travel any more than we have too.

No worries. If you can afford to leave the car at home, then you also have the passanger ferry from portsmouth that goes over as well

days and times can change the pirce dramatically.

I have paid as much as £160 or as little as £38 to take our car over.

If you have any tesco clubcard vouchers you can exchange £10 off CC to £40 off wightlink.

I've heard that it can be very expensive, but its our only choice at mo.

we've just booked on the wightlink ferry for £63. (return) not bad ay.
we thought it would be much more than that, so were happy with that price.

yes it was £160 return, high season etc.

Its always best to look at different times if you can.

You got it for a good price though. Im saving up my tesco vouchers for my next trip.
