windows 7, closing bad sites
2 Answers
On the windows 7 advert it says that if you click on a website that could be harmful to your computer, it automatically closes it, woudl there be a way to disable to automatic closing?
Only asking because most of the stuff you click on, on my schools website opens in a new window and a warning comes up sayign the site might be harmful and you can click to carry on or click to close the site, But if the page was automatically closed like it is on the website, i wouldn't be able to see most of the stuff on the site.

The Windows 7 advert is making reference to the bundled browser Internet Explorer 8, which has this very feature, named SmartScreen Filter. If you choose IE8 as your browser the filter can be disabled thus allowing suspected malware to be downloaded whilst you view the rest of the page.
