This one is probably the equivalent of a hard Araucaria or Paul in the Guardian.

I don't want to spoil it for others, but if you think of a myth concerning the subject of the theme, and what is said to have resulted, then the adjustments you have to make to the 4 clued answers will become apparent.

I found that most enjoyable.
I thought it was consederably more difficult than usual.
I didn't enjoy this at all. How I miss Bunthorne.
Once the highly topical theme (at least it was yesterday!) became obvious, it wasn't so tough. A fun puzzle, I thought.
A bit slow, but I got there in the end! Thanks to K , M and B for the links.
Thanks for the link, everyone. Am away in Lincolnshire on holiday so only just accessed it and may not have time to do it. Not back till April 6th but will try to do them each week.

Very enjoyable I thought. Took a tad longer than usual but that's Lavatch for you.
