Credit refused

Hi,
anybody understand why I would of been refused credit at curry's. Just went to buy a pc for about £800.00 on 12 month interest free credit. I was refused. Unbelievable!
I earn over £40:000 per annum and do not have anyone chasing me for money. I have a bank loan of £7:000 with my bank. That's no problem as I pay by direct debit every month with no problem. An argos card with only a couple of hundred quid left to pay until September. And my credit card is clear. Just got an iPhone from orange (£45 a month) with no problems. This has never happened to me before. I am perplexed! Any ideas?
Thanks

By all means get a credit report but I am not too surprised, Income is a factor in your favour but maybe the potential lender thinks you are at or near the credit limit. If you have a few credit cards you don't use they will contribute to your limit. The loans suggest you are a borrower who may present a risk to curry's because of other commitments.
Is £800 interest free that great a deal?
