Sainburys Closed Today!

Our local Sainsburys was closed today due to technical problems caused by the terrible weather! Their computers were down! Tesco in the same shopping mall were doing a roaring trade although they obviously weren't aware of the Sainsburys closure as they weren't well stocked up! What store or outlet would you miss if they were closed!!

Our tills went down yesterday for half an hour (Co op) and God you should have heard the customers whinge, like it was personally our fault.

They returned today, well the regulars anyway, still ruddy whinging about it! Most simply couldn't understand why they couldn't just take their shopping anyway and pay us today....

ah, it was probably the sight of the Co-op staff all cheering and clapping and dancing on the counters that got up their noses.

rofl, probably Jno. Got to admit it was fantastic without them there, i was crushed when the tills blinked back to life again.

I know, the happiest days of my working life were when the computers crashed. But we didn't have customers.

We love it when the phones go down at work! The bummer is when they come back on again! The punters are twice as grumpy!

When the tills came back on and the customers started drifting back again, it was our fault that they couldn't get their loaf, bread milk etc 20 minutes earlier.

Sorry oscarina- what shop would i miss? Well not the ruddy one i work at anyway! I'd have to say my local corner shop. Invaluable that place is to me.
