Cardiff airport

Didn`t know which section to put this in - I put it in Chatterbank but had no replies.
During the first BA strike 20 to 22 March Unite said there were BA aircraft parked up at Cardiff airport and other people said there weren`t. My friend`s husband claims he saw them with binoculars from Exmoor!!
Could someone who lives at Cardiff and saw for themselves clear this rumour up?
(this is apart from the ones there for maintenance of course)

Possibly they were aircraft in for maintenance BA have a large maintenance hanger next to the airport.

Since Cardiff is where BA gets a heck of a lot of its maintenance done, surely it is highly likely they are going to use the tarmac area to park spare aircraft on.
What's the big deal? - everyone knows that some BA flights are not running.
Hardly a major scope for the Unite union, me thinks.
They'll be telling us next that more cabin staff than usual have been spotted shopping in Waitrose whilst the dispute is on. Shock horror.
