No problem. The Stewarts are a bit of a mystery on the censuses - too common a surname possibly but the Husband family were easy.
1891 - 16 Market Place, Cockpen - James 33, River Tweed Policeman! born in Cockpen. Esther 34, born Kirkpatrick Fleming. Three children Archibald, 9 born Lasswade, Frances, 5 born Dalhouse Cockpen and Christina, 3 born Coldstream.
1901 census - Waterside Cottage, Gorebridge. James now a coal miner. His mother, also Christina, 86 living with them and an adopted son Robert Paterson 2.
All the best.
