well I was there 2 days and handed in my resignantion today. Was umming and arrghing over job. the lady had given me rota for next week today that was ridiculous and working early sat and sunday so I decided it just wasnt for me. I could have stayed on a bit while I looked for another job but that wouldnt have been fair on their company so I left. I just wouldnt have had a life there.

nope didnt get paid for them and you dont get paid if you run over your hours
4Get it does sound as if they weren't keeping to their side of the bargain, were your hours laid out in your contract? I don't think I could tell if I was happy in a job after only 2 days - everyone has the right to breaks and food, it's in employment law so I don't understand how the place you were workign didn't allow them to you. I must admit if it were me I would have given it a bit longer and stood up for what I was told at interview, but obviously you felt the circumstances weren't right for you to do that.
forget that industry is noted for being ruthless
I am sure you will get something that suits you 4get

she said in interview you will finish no later than 4pm. In my contract it said 'you are employed fulltime this is between 35 to 45 hrs a week. working times are between 7am and 6pm. So really she could have me doing all sorts of hours.
it's the nature of the beast nowadays 4get I'm afraid
Yes she can

Well I had got an email from another company just after I got job, I told them I had got another job but today I rang their company to ask to be considered again so they ut me back on interview list. 8.30am till 5pm mon to friday. I didnt sleep lastnight thinking about it all and just realised that it was worrying me too much so wasnt worth me staing there and making myself ill and upset
I wish you all the best 4get no job is worth stress pet
For a full day-you should get 2 15 minute breaks, plus a lunch break...and if you stay on the premises, you should get paid.
I was also going to say that maybe they've had trouble filling the position, and were less than upfront for that reason.

well when I txt my mate to say I'd left she said she kept seeing that advert in paper for same job
I didnt sleep lastnight thinking about it all and just realised that it was worrying me too much so wasnt worth me staing there and making myself ill and upset

A Good enough reason to leave any job. Life's too short to worry and not sleep. Good Luck with looking for a new job and better to resign sooner rather than later. xx
keeping their options open 4get, you would have been on a trial period
sorry to hear that 4get but then again if they are sketchy about hours, what else are they sketchy about? at least you have been upfront and given them the opportunity of chasing up the other applicants.
Hope you find something to your likings. Best wishes!
