MAC NUMBER

I am probably going to switch to a cable broadband IP from a landline connection. I understand that I would not need my MAC code in this case. However say further down the line, I want to switch back to a landline, would I need my present MAC code thenbe needed. Being a wrinlie I get so confused with all these things you have to understand. Thanks for any help.

The MAC code is only a temporary code to enable you to switch providers (if I recall correctly it's valid for 30days from issue)

if you want to switch again in the future you will need a new MAC code from your new provider.
