I've been attempting to do this quiz for a while now but so far have not been clever enough to complete one.
Is there a quizzer out there, in the same boat, who might be interested in making up a team to enter?

Hi Liz
Wish I could help, but we are a small team who always meet in person to struggle through ancient volumes of encyclopaedias to search without much success for some of the more difficult questions in GBQ (and that's only the first 'Friendly' 50!). We're too far away from Huntingdon to suggest that you join us, but I'm sure you'll find someone living closer to you - there seems to be a wealth of quizzing talent round the Cambridge/Peterborough/Huntingdon areas. Love your Rhyming quizzes, by the way.

Thanks tearing hair, I usually manage to answer most of the questions eventually and it's such a satisfying feeling when I do, but there's always a few that I really struggle with and think it would be nice to mull over them with someone! And, of course if you don't enter, and it's not cheap to do so, then you never get to find out those elusive answers cos they're not posted anywhere.
Anyways good luck with the current GBQ
