my ford mondeo 1.8 lx front lights have became very dim over the last month i have changed all the bulbs but to no gain can someone help me

how old is the car? if it's pre '97 then it's the filter inside the headlamp that turns yellow over time. see www.fordmondeo.org  for more info and a how-to guide.

perhaps your alternator is not generating the correct voltage or you may even have a loose fanbelt
