Spyware!

Is there any free software that removes spyware.
When i say free i mean completely free no subscriptions and no trial periods, just download and go!

what you're after is Ad-Aware Personal, by Lavasoft

The best are AdAware, Spybot Search and Destroy, and CW Shredder. Also download Spywareblaster, but don't omit to update and configure it. Prevents spyware ever getting on to your PC.

Good idea to use several, I use Ad-Aware, Microsoft, SpyBot - all free. Keep their definitions up to date every 2-3 days.

I take it you are already using an anti-Virus ?

Just used 'CCleaner', more a registry shakeup proggie, but very nice all the same. PC running nicely now, no problems of random shutdown like it used to ha

Just want to add that Microsoft antispyware only runs on Windows XP and 2000 and not W98 or ME.

Try spyware doctor..does a great job, its easy to use and its free...crap cleaner is good as well...
