Not one St Georges flag to be seen yet on March 17th , it was bedecked in green for St Patrick's Day?
We went out to have a celebration of our patron saint and the bugger was nowhere to be seen, typical bloke..lol

A couple of years ago there was a riot in the street when the thugs celebrating St Georges day decided to pick a fight with some Indians who were attending a wedding. I think they regretted it when the Indians came into the street with machetes....lol.
Riot vans are allocated all over town waiting for it to kick off....
On Paddy's day you might see a few extra police cars.....Georges day you see loads of extra riot vans....
I don't know the mentality behind it.
