Travel i.d.

My elderly neighbours are flying to Scotland with Easyjet, he has a picture driving licence and she has picture disability badge. My question is... can they use these to fly with or will they need other I.D.
If they need something else what can they get baring in mind neither has a passport and will never be leaving the UK. TIA

i think youll need to discuss this with the airline they are considering. Some will only take passports as proof of ID, even for domestic flights

I've tried for 2 days now to get through to Easyjet without any luck - my neighbours are traveling in 6 weeks so I'm worried about the length of time (and cost) it will take to get them new I.D.'s

driving licence and pension book are both acceptable. doesnt mention disability badge though

Thank you so much for that I've been in absolute panic. They are both in their late 80's and it's been my responsibility to see to all their needs. All I need to do now is order one of those electric buggy things to take them to the plane.

if you google the answers are all there on the easyjet website -
Whether you're travelling within the UK or abroad, you must be able to identify yourself at check-in. But bear in mind that not all kinds of photographic ID are accepted. You can take any one from the list below, but remember that if you are not able to present one of these forms of ID at check-in, easyJet cannot accept you for travel.

UK domestic flights

A valid passport - an expired passport can be used up to a maximum of two years after expiry
Valid photographic EU or Swiss national identity card
Valid photographic driving licence
Valid armed forces identity card
Valid police warrant card/badge
Valid airport employees security identity pass
A child on parent' s passport is an acceptable form of ID

I've managed to book a wheelchair for the Mrs but will have to keep trying to get through to Easyjet to arrange the buggy type thing. I might try ringing the airport tomorrow too. Thanks again all xx
