washing machine 'noises'
5 Answers
My Aeg washing machine has recently started making 'noises'. It seems to be coming from the water inlet which starts and stops abruptly which results in a loud bang in the water pipes.
Is this a machine fault I can tackle on my own ( DIY competent) or is it serious - or maybe water pressure?

Seriously, I had a similar problem although with a different brand of machine. Mine was simply due to a buildup of grit in the small filter where the waterhoses connect to the washer's pipes. It was a 5 minute job to remove the hoses from the back and pry out the in-line filter, rinse and replace. Hope your problem is something similarly simply.
