Another funny car story.

I remember many years ago I had sold my Mini and moved up a notch to a Ford Escort - one Saturday I parked in my usual space in the supermarket multi story car park - when I returned to the car I realised I was wedged in between two large concrete pillors. I tried to reverse back and then forward again, wedging myself more - finally I realised I could'nt get out.

I phoned Mr. Den who came to my rescue - He was really understanding - NOT ! ..... it took him and 3 other men to bump my car out of the space - both sides were dented in.

All I could say was 'well the Mini used to fit ' (;0 D

I used to have a hatchback but borrowed the husband's Alfa one night........reversed into a parking space forgetting the car had a boot.........

Just back from the hosp den where I found a space unusually on the first floor but I stopped at a weird angle so it took me ages of back and forth , back and forth to park - a real reginald molehusband moment! So when I got out of car I exaggerated a bit of a limp to explain it away - with my head down - of course- Hows the tooth ?

Well the tooth saga is still ongoing - its not throbbing so much now, but just sensitive - have finished antibiotics and am just waiting to see if it settles down.

Yep usual tests. Actually moved very quickly. So big hair job this aft - cut and colour. The others will be fine now they're on anti bs. I hope the tooth calms down now - is the mood connected or is it the folks? I got a text from my sister in the hospital - she's bringing my mother out today and she asked me where I would prefer to be - with her or queueing in hosp - guess what my answer was - lol

I admit I am absolutely useless at parking between two parked cars. I completely misjudge the distance and usually end up giving up.... I just don't get it.
(Mind you, the BF isn't brilliant at it - but he blames it on his big car (it's only a passat).

Especially in multi storey car parks, it just doesnt happen!
Last week, me and my fella went to town at lunch time and I drove, found a car parking space which was between 2 parked cars - he said I could reverse in easily, I tried, I got stuck.... I pulled forward again, got out the car and he had to park it for me! :-)
