Why has very little been reported, regarding this protest by the English Defence League?
When a Radio presenter was asked why this was, he said perhaps it was because it was a Bank holiday, making it a slow news day???????
What has been reported has been slanted against the EDL, although apparently there was a large presence of Far Left & Asian thugs, aiming to inflict injury on the protesters and police.
A report taken from English Defence League's website.
/// Gangs of Muslims are roaming the streets with knives. We have had a lot of feedback from supporters in Dudley, and all are saying the same things, the police are letting this happen. Muslims are being allowed to walk around unchallenged with weapons. Knives, bricks, you name it. What is going on in this Country? There are hundreds of police there, but none seem to be doing anything about them. I will take this back if there are reports that hundreds of Muslims have been arrested for carrying weapons tomorrow, but i wont be holding my breath.///

The planned Mosque was refused by the local council because it was to be built on land earmarked for industrial developement adjacent to the new bypass around the town.
However a Government department in Bristol overturned the councils decision and a 50,000 names petition,to give the Mosque the green light.
The majority of people in Dudley don't want it and don't need it.
The Muslims already have several smaller mosques within a few miles of the town plus one already in Dudley itself.
I would like to point out that the council have said today the planned Mosque has not been scrapped, merely "open to revision"
Before sp goes banging on and calling me a facist I know a few Muslims who find the whole episode embarrassing and would rather have something built there that would benefit everybody.

Police were forced to step in when several hundred UAF campaigners tried to enter the EDL area of the square.
A wall of police pushed them back, and mounted police were put on stand-by to charge. The clash three protesters and a policeman with minor injuries.
Later, police sent in snatch squads to remove troublemakers from the UAF side.
Seven people, including a police officer bitten by a police dog, were treated for injuries. They included a 16-year-old girl who suffered a panic attack and a man who suffered a minor head injury. Among those arrested was Weyman Bennett, the joint secretary of UAF – on suspicion of conspiracy to commit violent disorder.
A number of EDL protesters were also arrested for disorder.

Attacking upstanding decent police officers who are only there to protect us innocents from their drink-fuelled rampages.
Disgraceful.

/// How did the EDL protesters come across to you? ///
Well from what I can gather they were making a legitimate protest against the building of Mosques and the increase of Islamism in this country.
But certain opposition groups in this country do not wish the indigenous people of this country to have a voice. Consequently they will go to any lengths to try and prevent protests taking place.
For reasons one can only guess at, the media are less likely to report violence by these groups and their ethnic counterparts, your post is a typical example.
I have turned your post on it's head to illustrate my point.
/// Have you watched the link of the 'UAF animals' rampaging on our streets?
