Avatar activate: Have just gone through the avatar create process - how do I activate it to appear on AB?

so, after following all these tips how the heck do i stop getting a black avatar?
I changed it 2 days ago and it is still black

Hi oj.....I can understand your frustration because all I can establish via Gravatar are 'Black Squares'.

Perhaps we should accept the position and then re-register with AB under names such as...JustinBlack; AvaTarnun; Hueless; Ebony: etc. etc.

Hi trix....We are pleased that you finally activated your Avatar. As you can see.... we have also activated ours....thanks to the help of folk such as ChuckFickens; factor30 and boxtops.

However we feel sorry for ojread2....whose in the black....but credit is still being withheld from her by the Gravater bank.
