extra memory

hi out there ,what would i gain by putting an extra 1gb of ram if angthing in my acer aspire desktop pc,that runs windows xp,it has 1 gb already,so is it worth the extra ? i use the computer mainly for internet surfing and emails.cheers

you probably wouldn't see a huge increase in speed as you already have one gig.
