Did you have a problem guessing the links or did someone tip you the wink? Maybe the Fonz made your day?

I can reveal that on this, the 4th wekend in May, “Sir Robin of Linksley” (aka Aquagility) was extremely generous with his choice of links which were:

PROBLEM Child
Hood WINK
INDIAN Summer
HAPPY Days

Dustybun set the scoring off smartly at 9:01 with HOOD WINK for two points and within two minutes, Christiana, deecee131, Grenmus, tearinghair, patchett, lysander, centrino, Dinkypuzzled, beejay1124, caslass and seekeerz all picked up the same bonus.

Third player, deecee131, still at 9:01 decided to make a long-term forecast that we are going to have an INDIAN SUMMER and then Grenmus, tearinghair and Jan1956 agreed - all for 2 points.

It was just 9:02 when player 6, Grenmus, fondly recalled Fonzie for HAPPY DAYS. Centrino, Jan1956, caslass and seekeerz were surely fans as well and qualified for 2 points on this match.

Over the next hour there was a flood of single-point scorers but nobody found the final elusive link until Cliffyg decided that Aquagility had been a PROBLEM CHILD and picked up 2 points for it.

Now if you have been observant, you will have realised that the name of Grenmus, appears in the list for all the first three links so I have no hesitation in declaring:
Grenmus is "*** HOTSHOT OF THE WEEK ***" for being the only triple hitter this week.
Question Author
Todays scores are therefore
6 Grenmus
4 caslass, centrino, deecee131, jan1956, seekeerz, tearinghair
3 cliffyg
2 (11) & 1 (9)

and that makes the Leader Board look like this:

8 Christiana, deecee131, lysander, paulineward, seekeerz
6 beejay1124, caslass, centrino, Grenmus, tearinghair
5 cliffyg, miss meg
4 Dinkypuzzled,Elspeth, jan1956, mirandasmum, patchett,roslyn251254, slaney, ulysses100
3 boxtops, ChrisHewat, grannydi, wickedtongue, x-ray

So it looks like it will be an exciting final is on the books for next weekend. No less than five joint leaders! and a large chasing pack.

You just have to be there next weekend to find out who takes the top spot and who gets to be next month's setter.
This is gen2 saying TTFN - see you all the same time, same place, next weekend.
Well at least I managed to get one this week. Thanks Sir Robin and Gen2.

2 points for me this week, pity I was asleep at 9am when I usually enter! Thanks to Aqua & gen2. see you all next bank holiday weekend for the final game of May.
Thanks Sir Rob and gen2, and well done to all.
Nothing for me this week (boo hoo !) and, as I am away for next weekend I will have no hope in making a dash for the finish line. So, good luck everyone for the final links game and I'll see you again in a couple of weeks time.
Thanks Sir Robin and Gen2, although no points for me this week. Well done all the point scorers. As I'll be on a golf tour in Northern Ireland next weekend I doubt that I'll be able to enter the final week, unless the hotel has internet access available and my eyes can focus on the screen and keyboard.
Thanks gen2 and Sir Robin.
Wow Hotshot of the week!!
It is many moons since that last happened.
Watch it I'm coming through on the rails [I hope]
Thanks gen2 and Sir Robin.

Well done Grenmus.

Alll up for grabs next week then!
