A model of Nelson's flagship The Victory has been set in a bottle and placed on a plinth in Trafalgar Square.

Although an unique piece of artwork, I think the brightly pattern sails spoil the whole effect.

The artist said "the African and batik prints reflects the multicultural and diverse capital".

I don't know what Mrs Thatcher would say about it, the same as she said about BA's tail fins, I suspect.

I certainly mean't the real thing. There should be irony in art.
Totally agree.

Where can we buy the rotten fruit from?
as long as he still has computer access; I'd miss him otherwise.

If one must post such ridiculous anti-Spanish, anti-French statements such as this,

/// One must hope that such an exhibit does not upset the French & Spanish too much. ///

One must expect a more constructive answer in return,

/// Since they have had to endure the square and Nelson's column since about 1843, I should think the can endure a much less spectacular piece of art for the next 18 months. ///

But then my answer contains both historic accuracy and factual content, unlike yours which is just a cheap, ill-thought-out dig at me.
