Hi, my friend recently installed norton anti-virus on her pc. Since it was installed she cannot access the internet. I am due to look at it tommorow, but just wondered could it be that it has blocked access to the internet because of possible virus/spyware issues? could i unblock it in the settings? thankyou for helping me. I appreciate it.

Remove it. Terrible software and deffo not for someone with little knowledge of protocols (she's obviously blocked TCP/IP outgoing by accident). Either remove it and use somethign else or re-open port 80 within the sortware (sorry I don't know where it is because I've never used it)
