MM and KM Links June 2010 [Week 2]

We begin Week 2 still looking for caslass. I would better understand her absence if she had expressed being terrified of the task of MM Links setting (some ex-champions have found themselves in that position) but she was full of enthusiasm! Has her PC suffered a catastrophic failure I wonder?

It brings me no comfort that I already have Plan “C” in place and ready for tomorrow’s launch at 08.45 with the posting of the four words to be linked at 9.00am, when MM Links kicks off in earnest. Remember ~ early MM hits gain bonus points!

This weekend has an international flavour and the Links Game is no exception. Of course I’m talking about the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz and goes by the name of “seekeerz”. As I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.

Crofter, I have looked at Caslass's stats and between Sept 09 (when she joined) and the end of May this year she has averaged 2 questions posted every 3 days and between 4 and 5 answers posted every day.

Since May 31st, she has posted nothing.
She has not replied to either your or my emails.

It is as if she has disappeared off the face of the earth (I hope she hasn't)
I'm afraid something serious may have happened (if she was posting as a genuine user and not as an impostor).

If Caslass got herself banned from AB, it still doesn't explain why our emails have been ignored.

I do hope Caslass is okay. I wonder if she got worried about it? I hope not. Maybe we ought to let people know towards the end of the month...in case they win...how much support is given. I mean if evsajo can do it!! :-)))

Isn't Buxton lovely?

We took Sarumite there last year..and came back through the Goyt Valley. Beautiful countryside.

am at work next fri morning and they have moved my shift the following wed when England play
I have a 7am start but at least will be home for th ematch as it is an afternoon one I think
we can wear England shirts on th edays England play

Pauline, we found the Serpentine park in Buxton on the last day, and will have to go back again to see it properly. I loved the Japanese garden at Tatton Park - my son and daughter-in-law took me to some of the gardens in Kyoto when they were first married, and it brought back some very happy memories.

Good evening. If caslass is logged into AB may i say that 8/9 months ago i had the opportunity to set the links and i declined due to an impending heart bypass operation which i did not disclose at that time.Since then i had another chance to set the links which i really enjoyed. With crofter to guide and help you please reconsider if you can and come back to AB.
