It is good to have a little bit of banter after the football but this was a bit dire! a forum for James Corden!

I agree, I didnt think this show really worked very well. Still, it may improve with better guests

I thought exactly the same oscarina, what a load of drivel, and I was even more surprised that Gordon Banks took part, but he did look a bit embarrassed.
As for Cowell, no idea why he took part in it, must be he cant stand being off the telly at weekends.

How come Corden is now the funny face of English football? His physique is hardly a shining example to aspiring young soccer players.

Very poor programme. Baddiel and Skinner are much better.
I think the reason Simon Cowell was there was to keep an eye on Katie Perry and make sure she got some plugs in for her music, as I understand sh'es going to be part of his team on the next series of X factor.
I'm not sure what Gordon Banks made of it all.

James Corden is managing to stretch a very narrow talent quite a long way.
I think it'll shortly be coming round to bite him............

Yeah JTH i dont rate James Corden much and it was the first and last time i watch that show....Did Simon Cowell watch the match or was he getting his make up applied he is beginning to look like a clown, all he needs is a red nose.

The clips they showed at half time made it look quite funny so I gave it a go but turned off after a few mins. Needless to say I won't make that mistake again.

I quite like James Corden but found him to be quite agressive on occasion towards Katy Perry. The show was also quite poorly rehearsed as twice nr the beginning they mentioned that England drew with Uruguary in '66!
