Anyone going to watch,Hayley the 96 year old schoolgirl?

Nope. I don't like these programmes where they show some unfortunate person to make the rest of us feel better. Seems a bit sick to me.

i agree squarebear, I never watch this sort of programme either.

I don't watch these as a rule - I think they're a bit intrusive, a bit like all those 'life stories' coming out about people abused in various ways as children.

However - there was a fantastic one about 6/7 years ago about a man called Jonny in 'The boy who's skin fell off' presented by Nell McAndrew. He had a rare debilitating skin agonising condition. It was awe inspiring, funny, emotional and Jonny himself had no self-pity whatsoever. Does anyone remember that?

I never watched the Hayley documentary poodi.

Chrissa - I can imagine he was quite a character yes. That doc. brought me to tears and made me feel so humble for complaining about trivial aches & pains.

Didnt he have baked bean can painted on his coffin,and they played a queen track,cant remember the title,but it started with "Dont stop me now having such a good time"or maybe that was the title...

Hayley lives in Bexhill On Sea. The young man lived in Alnwick, Northumberland.
