But need a cheap run around for a few months as i need to sell mine.
I have just found a 1993 suzuki vitari 4x4 thing and i LOVE it, its done 87500 miles, MOT for 12 months.
its £495.

Would it be reeeallly stupid to buy it? My mum just said that she would never buy a car for so little money... but it is only going to be used for a few months and not long distance...

It sounds jolly, nannon.

Go for it.

If it breaks down, just dump it.

You'll have lots of fun.

If the insurance wasnt so high i would but thats more than double what i pay now, have had no claims or anything! I'll phone my insurance company in the morning and see if they can give me a more realistic quote!!
F you add your dad as a named driver it should bring the premiums down ( assuming he's not Nigel Mansell or a rock star)

haha, no he's not! Good thinking!
I just though that for an older car my insurance would come down not shoot up!!
It's all about safety and security which have improved greatly in the last few years.
