Horror film title.. Please help

Hi All. A friend of mine was describing a horror/chiller movie to me and I can not for the life of me think of the name. She says it takes place in an empty flat and the only thing in there is a television which when it is switched on allows being to come from the screen into reality. She thinks that it has a priest in it guarding the television but can't remember. It is about 20 years old and is not The Ring, Poltegist or Terrorvision... I am hoping someone can put my mind to rest!!
