I was in the car with my mum and my phone rang, I grabbed my bag and zipped it open and all the contents fell out. Including my strawberry flavoured condoms. My mum picked one up and gave me a stern look then replied " I did'nt know you liked strawberry."

when i go to the gum clinic to have my anti-baby depot, i always pick up 20 condoms for my son, who is 17. his girlfriend and he are at it like rabbits when she's over and she sometimes stays the night...but i would rather know what they are up to and make sure they are as safe as possible (she's on the pill as well). it's good that your mum is fairly liberal minded and didn't give you a rollocking - at the end of the day, if you are going to get up to 'stuff' then you may as well be safe. the strawberry comment made me smile, though! x

SK how would you feel if it was your daughter that was "at it like a rabbit" with condoms on tap at someone elses house. "Ooh lets go to his mums, she lets us go at it there". Why give them the opportunity.

gran - at least i would know she was safe! my son's girlfriend's parents are a couple of pigs...they kicked her out on the street at 15 and took all her wages from a saturday job from her too. her dad's an alky and treated her and her mum like crap - and her mum chose to throw her out to appease dad. she now lives between us and her very sick grandparents, trying to care for them, go to college and work too. they may be at it like bunnies, but she is a shining example of a teenager and i feel proud she keeps my son well and truly in line! i try and help as much as possible and am hesitant to let her move in here full time, but i know that is coming at some point soon (as i would never turn her out on the street) x
