EV 922 Works by Oxymoron

I know that this composer is a bete noire for some of us, but this particular offering is accessible: do have a go at it, it's very rewarding. There's some delightful cluing, amusing in parts - and ribald (32 ac is my favourite). My way in was through 23 ac, once one has a few intersecting letters from down answers that work can be guessed, which leads to the originator and hence to the other works.
Great stuff! Thanks to Oxymoron, I feel compelled to celebrate with a small(-ish) glass of 'Ladies who shoot their lunch' (Strathbogie Shiraz), which I also recommend highly.

Well am now almost settled in my new home in Lincolnshire. Very nice at the moment with plenty of sun (yes, I know it won't last). I'm glad this latest offering proved an easy one, as have only just unearthed the big red book. Finished it today, with 5 minutes here and there in between investigating crates and cartons. Haven't had much time to spend on it as, apart from unpacking, like Devadolly am now freezing Strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants etc. (not a farm, just a large well-stocked garden, complete with horrendous weeds including some ghastly thing I think is called Mare's tail or horsetail or some such. It has a fiercesome reputation, and as the place has been empty for about 9 months, is thriving, along with the nettles. Guess what I'll be doing next week.
Hello Christiana,
Glad your move went OK, and the unpacking will no doubt take some time. While we were away I had a drink or two to wish you well in your new home. Looks like you brought some Portuguese weather back with you. It's just about 30°C here on the South Coast. I'm trying to wear out a garden chair!

Thanks for all the good wishes. It's almost too hot for all this unpacking lark. Tomorrow my youngest son is coming over to try to get my desktop up and running, plus the printer, which is looking sick after its journey with a tiny part having come adrift, who knows from where. I am grateful to our netbook which keeps going whatever the conditions, but do find it restricting.
