Did U2 write 'walk on' for the Roswell T.V. series?

As a big U2 fan, I think I'm right in saying that this song was written for and about Daw Aung San Suu Kyi - who is a Burmese activist and protester against the current government.She has been under house arrest for 16 years for daring to "walk on" despite being asked to stop at gunpoint by government soldiers. She has won a Nobel Peace prize for her campaign.

The album it's on All That You Can't Leave Behind is banned in Burma.
