Gazza and Moat

I live in NZ so dont get the chance to see the UK news that often.
Somebody told me last night that Gazza had gone down to the scene where Moat was threatening to kill himself and offered to talk him round?

Is this true if so can anyone please elaborate?

dh001, they haven`t given out any abuse, you were out of order for your "you and your kind kind have ruined GB" comment.

He`s entitled to his opinion as much as you or I am regarding the Moat stand off, personally I think the police should have let the brother or uncle in to speak to him, on the other hand Moats brother only "appeared" after the shooting, no sign of him all week when Moat was on the run

I just got the feeling i was being wound up, and that's a penalty you pay for taking every post at face value, until you realise the conversation is just going around in circles.

Re. Moat's brother - it appears he has not been in touch fo six years, so no wonder the police thought it inadviseable for him to appear at the scene.

A total tragedy for all concerned.
