Grandfather's death

I'm trying to view my grandfather's death record on Scotlands People but it's bringing me back no records found.
He was called Thomas Russell and he died in November 1956 in Lerwick in the Shetlands, aged about 70.........I must be doing something wrong in the search but don't know what........HELP.

Are you sure he died in Lerwick? Perhaps we was ill and died in hospital as sometimes happens. Try different spellings of Russell.

Thanks carole I've found it now. I guy who runs a genealogy site just for the Shetlands found it for me.......he died in Bressay harbour, which is about 5 minutes from Lerwick as far as I can tell.
