I came across possibly the rudest doctor today!

Really spoke down to a collegue i was shocked! As in catching flies shocked it was so bad! Its been a funny old day actually! U all had a good one i hope... For a monday at least x

No - the rudest doctor is the one who asked me if I knew about the morning after pill when I took one of my children to see her (I have five children and she was obviously off about it - I was so gobsmacked!).

Lol no not sqad!! Lol omg sherrardk thats terrible!! Some have no tact!! Im used to people being a tad stressed and possibly being a bit quick but today i was shocked!! And even the porter today was right rude!!!! Mondays eh!!!

HI Tink - I was really annoyed, they were all planned, they all have the same dad (my husband) and she spoke to me like I was 17! Maybe your lot were all having an off day. What are you studying for?

A degree in adult nursing!! She was young and just sooo rude i get the impression its the norm from her!! Thats terrible ... Did u change doc or say anything!? Think b4 u speak comes to mind!! Lol x

Hi - I don't see the same doctor each time (just get an appointment with any old one). My husband did complain to the surgery and he contacted the GMC (who said to take it further) but I didn't want to make too much fuss as I didn't want her holding a grudge against us in any way.

Until you have met my medical director, you have not yet met the rudest doctor out there... IHe has all the class of a drunk cockcroach. It's just lucky he's got good hands surgically speaking. A complete and utter knob of the highest order.

I hear he speaks highly of me too.....

No i agree poodi no one is perfect ive met extremely rude nurses too!! Yeah sherrardk at least i know what im in for hahah!!! And i must say the nurse was very professional! We cant all like everyone and b nice 100% of the time i suppose!!!

I have only ever met one doctor that I thought of as human/normal, they are mostly so very superior! they work for us!.................but don't get it!.....................I don't like most of them!,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The doctor we saw today was really nice and normal (my youngest daughter has slapped cheek) - but he also looked up my symptoms on Wikipedia when I had Glandular Fever (though to be fair, the symptoms were really weird).

My mate`s a nurse and she said a lot of the doctors are very arrogant. I don`t want to bash doctors as I`m not in the medical field and don`t know many but I`ve always reckoned it`s because most of them are male and they are in a mainly female environment. We have exactly the same situation at work with some of our pilots

I had to attend our local Fracture clinic a couple of weeks ago, for follow-up afterbreaking my ankle at the end of April. Every time I have been, I've seen a different doc, so it's all been very confusing (another story!). Anyway, this doctor walked in to the cubicle where I was patiently waiting, and he said "good morning, what are you here for?" Whaaaat! Hasn't he read his notes.

Now that I am old enough to be most of these doctors' parent, most of them look as though they are barely out of medical school. I am sure it's not just me who thinks that way!
