Just in case you missed my answer in response to your statement in Kromo's post, entitled "Interesting" in which you said:
/// "This was not on the front page of the Daily Mail. Which is odd because they always go for the Muslim clerics. In fact it was no where to be found on their website. Everyone at the DM must at church, what else can be the reason not to report this good dose of common sense". ///
My answer:

I am surprised at you Mr Google, this is old news, and was reported by your good old Daily Mail on 3rd March 2010

Sorry for the high jack Geezer.
I would agree with much of the praise lavished by ABers so it is pointless repeating it.
So what don't I like or I think they could do better. My previous neighbour used to go off to work at about 8 am and most days was back home by 10am . When I queried it he said he was a member of a recording team of 10 men but that 90% of the time the job could be done by 3 men. So the other 7 could go home. Apparently the manning levels throughout the BBC had been agreed with the unions many years previously and it had never been changed. That is the problem with state organisations they rarely have to account for the money they receive.
With regards to the quality of the programmes up to 9pm they are quite good but thereafter
talent is substituted for obcenity. They seem to think the more swearing you introduce the cleverer it is . Judging by the jugged applause they are certainly appreciated.
However the shows that that are repeated the most are those that are rich in talent and devoid of base humour.

A good example of my point , modeller
There appears to be a lot of '' Heads of this '' '' Heads of that '' '' Editor of this ''
'' Editor of that ''
It would be interesting to see how many equivalent ' jobs ' there are in other broadcasters , like ITV / SKY

As a person from outside the UK, who actually pays Mr. Murdoch to get the BBC on my tv, and who's travelled the world and seen what some of the rest of the world's national stations put out, I can hand on heart say that the BBC is bloody terrific and one of the best stations in the world. Also - look through your listings; with the exception of the odd movie pretty much everything they show is produced by the Beeb. I can't think of any other station that could claim that.
